Xiaomi a Chinese company of mobile devices has presented a smartphone with high-end features and an economical price, under a new brand; that promises to revolutionize the market.

The POCO F1 introduces the latest Snapdragon chip, a 4000 mAh battery larger than normal and up to eight gigabytes of RAM, which matches the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in those specifications. But its cost will be much lower than the flagship models of rival “affordable” brands.

One expert said the launch could force other companies to reconsider their prices. “It has the best Qualcomm processor you can get right now, essentially it costs about half the price of some rivals,” said Mike Lowe, reviser editor of the Pocket-lint device site, which has tested the device.

The basic model of the POCO F1, which has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, has an approximate value of $ 300 USD. The high-end version, with a synthetic fiber back and more RAM and storage, costs around $ 430 USD.

The POCO F1 has only been confirmed for sale in India at this time, where it will be launched on August 29. But its Chinese manufacturer has said it plans to take the phone to some 50 more countries.
