BioUrban is an air purification system with 100% Mexican technology designed to transform several polluting compounds (Carbon monoxide, Nitrogen oxides, PM (10 and 2.5)) into Oxygen and biomass of the natural process of photosynthesis performed by a microalgae developed by BiomiTech

It is a “artificial tree” of 4 m high steel that incorporates a container with microalgae that are capable of transforming contaminated air into oxygen. In the larger model it is able to purify the equivalent to the respiration of 2,850 people a day.

This device can do the photosynthesis work of 368 eucalyptus in any place where you place it, industries, offices, open spaces, hotels, schools, sports centers …

BioUrban will not replace trees or other integral solutions that combat air pollution, they simply offer a simple solution to improve air quality and generate biomass as an energy source for the industry.

There are four types of Biourban depending on the capture capacity and purification volume needed:

Biourban 1.0:

  • Capture capacity: 2,233,800 m3 of air / year.
  • Purification volume: 36.74 kg / year.
  • Air flow rate: 225 m3 / h.
  • Capture of PM 2.5 and 10 Particles: Filters up to 99.7%.
  • Equivalent to the breathing of people per day: 28 people.
  • Equivalent to the release of O2 from young trees: 14 trees.

Biourban ashtray:
