The Microsoft technology company has developed a new Walkie Talkie feature so that workers who use their Microsoft Teams program can communicate through their smart devices safely and without crosstalk.
This new feature allows clear, instant and secure voice communication through the cloud, as it converts the ‘smartphones’ and ‘tablets’ of employees into walkie talkies, as explained in a statement.
This function reduces the number of devices that employees have to carry in addition to reducing costs in technology. The walkie talkie works by means of WiFi or mobile data making it possible to be used in any geographical location.
Microsoft has also developed other functions such as Tasks, to guide and inform what each worker has to do, or also a function that serves to manage the work with management of schedules, shifts or exchange requests.
In addition, updates have been included to improve identity management such as logging in via SMS, logging out of shared devices, controlling access to devices outside working hours, user administration and provisioning service. Azure AD users that integrates with SAP SuccessFactors.
