Microsoft continues to work on its programming language, for the cloud, called Bosque.
This language seeks to create simple code that is easy to understand by both people and machines, leaving aside the complexity of the classic structured languages that have been used for the last 40 years.
It focuses on basic algebraic operations, eliminating complex orders, replacing them with others. Based on the syntax and data types of TypeScrypt, a language developed by Microsoft, being one of the most used at present. It is also influenced by Node/Javascript and ML.
Bosque programming language wants to break with the complexity of the known languages, eliminating the loops and replacing them with a new function called Functor, which, although it performs an activity similar to a loop, is easier to create and track, along the code, avoiding possible common errors.
Bosque is now available for Windows, and is configured around an open source (MIT) licensed GitHub repository, welcoming community contributions, including, comments, questions, and requests for extraction and research based on or enhancing the Bosque language.
We’ll be looking forward to seeing you in the coming months.
